- I am Brian Vaugh, sometimes called Rev. Brian Vaugh, or Rev. BanYa Sunim. I am currently the Vice Abbot and leader of the English speaking Sangha at the New Hartford Buddhist Temple. From a eclectic religious and spiritual background I find Buddhism as it is being created and discovered in the United States a neutral medium to fill a spiritual vacume. My role as leader is to encourage seekers to wake up to find they are already that which they seek.

Is Jack really that way? I haven't watched 24 very much, but in some scenes Jack doesn't seem so nice. Maybe his sometimes gruff exterior is simply what it takes to help those he's trying to help.
How can anyone not like Jack Bauer? He's a hero.
Nothing to die for = nothing to live for. Interesting paradox. I think it's true.
Jack, isnt trying to be nice, or anything else. He is just Jack.
I wish I could be just me without trying.
